Angular JS

Angular is a Javascript framework from Google that makes it easy to build applications with the web. Angular empowers developers to build applications that live on the web, mobile, or the desktop through combination of declarative templates, dependency injection, end to end tooling, and integration of best practices. It lets you use HTML as your template language and lets you extend HTML’s syntax to express your application’s components clearly and succinctly.

This is a hands-on course in web development for participants who expect to rapidly learn how to code in Angular, the newest and fastest growing Javascript framework from Google. The purpose of the course is to provide students with a solid grasp of dynamic web development from a technical perspective. This practical course will focus on the basic implementation of Bootstrap Framework and Javascript coding, concepts of model-view-viewmodel (MVVM) framework and features of Angular coding. Students should have basic knowledge of HTML and coding. Students will build Angular-based websites and applications that will progress through the course utilizing available editing tools.

The objectives of the course are:
– Teach the students the basics of using Bootstrap HTML Framework
– Teach the students the basics of Javascript
– Teach the students the basics of MVVM Framework
– Teach the students the basics of Angular JS
– Enable the student to increase current job productivity or actively pursue a mid/senior level Web Developer position in the IT Industry.

You will learn how to build a website, including:

  • Create web pages using HTML
  • Using Bootstrap HTML Framework and Javascript
  • Adding Angular JS to the page
  • Learn all features of Angular JS.

In this hands-on course about Angular JS, students will be setting up Angular development environment online or locally on their computer. Students can also choose standard IDE to edit the code. The class will be using Microsoft Visual Code, a free IDE from Microsoft. Students are expected to have previous development using HTML or exposure to HTML and Bootstrap Framework.
